The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms, making it well-suited to couples, small families, or friends looking for a quiet coastal getaway. The kitchen opens onto a small deck with a lovely westerly outlook, perfect for sunset and bird watching.  Here you will find everything needed for a short break or an extended stay. If you have a larger group, this apartment can be used together with Lodge apartment 1 by simply opening the door across the deck.  Perfect for larger groups, small retreats, or workshops

Lose yourself in the gorgeous West Coast sunsets as you relax on the outdoor deck or sink into the comfortable sofa and enjoy the peace of your surroundings.  Get a little more active and take a walk through the forest to the beach and work up an appetite by exploring as much or as little of the 50km beach as you want…or delight in the swooping, soaring gannets up at the Gannet Colony at the south end of the beach between Muriwai and Maukatia Bay (sometimes called Māori Bay).
